Intermission

The intermission is the pause between the acts of a theater play. The illustration symbolizes the life path of an actress from her childhood to her last old age role. In the first act – the beginning of her life path, the childhood is expressed by her face. The second act follows a large and lush body which emphasizes the femininity and the beauty of the mature woman – the transition from a woman to a mother.
And the last act – the old age expressed by the hand of an already elderly woman.
